Finally, on 23 October 2019, the entire European Parliament approved the objection by 533 votes to 67, with 100 abstentions. The European Parliament by this decision confirms the desire to achieve higher standards of protection for bees, other pollinators, and the environment. The European Parliament has finally agreed that we need stricter protections for bees and pollinators, and this is a big victory for the US, for APIMONDIA, for all the NGOs involved.
